Make learning yours
We're gonna start working more on your opinions (a.k.a analysis), seeing how you create a claim, evidence, and the analysis tying it together. For this week, look up some topic or idea connected to our future, and tell us your opinion on it; specifically, is it a good or a bad thing? Read about it and come up with a claim, THEN you grab from the text to prove your claim. Tell us if you think the idea is good or bad.
E.g.,: We should stop using devices like Alexa or Siri because they invade our privacy. Although they help us with information and make our lives easy, they record us and keep track of what we are doing, constantly. As the Washington Post found, even though Alexa should only pay attention when you call its name, it has been found to record you constantly. Though making our lives easier is good, protecting who we are is more important. Amazon should not use drones to help deliver packages. Although this may reduce the shipping price and increase efficiency the cons definitely outweigh the pros. One of the biggest issues that drones would face is theft. Preprogram drones can only land in a big clearing such as a driveway. Leaving packages on driveways makes it easy for people to steal them. Not only can people steal the package but many people are shooting down drones and taking the package. There is also a chance that the camera on the drone may record it's way to your house which can be hacked and used for identity theft. Another factor that may impact drones is the weather. Bad weather might damage the drone preventing it from delivering the package, or just damage the package. Not only will amazon have to send a new package it will make a profit loss. Lastly, thousands of people will lose their job to drones. Overall, drones should not be used as a delivery service.

We should not let apps access our camera. According to an article by dylan curran, whenever we grant an app access to our camera, it will be able to livestream off the camera, take pictures without us knowing, run real-time face recognition to detect facial features or expressions, the list goes on. If we stop giving them permission, we would not have to deal with random pictures that we never took out on the internet. If we used energy power the world will be a better place. The atmosphere is getting thicker and thicker do to carbon dioxide which comes from fossil fuels. In the article it says that "Earth’s ancient atmosphere was half as thick as it is today." If we stop using fossil fuel and start using energy power we would stop global warming and many more things.

People in the world should stop abusing dogs. Based on this article from Sentient Media, humans have strong relationships with dogs than any other animals there is. They have been domesticated for many centuries, expanding their legacy. Sure, we've trained them for hunting and protection, but mainly, we trained them to be our best friends. They help people with certain diseases or disabilities, and can be used for therapy for those who are having a rough time in life. There are many people in the world who abuse these Canines, such as using them for illegal activity, drug violence, or neglect. Dogs are mostly abused because their owners are taking their anger out on them or they have certain problems, for instance drinking. Dogs are one of the most important animals on Earth, and if anyone abuses them for no reason are fools.

There's this great new technology that's being developed that can sense when a wild fire might happen. This would help out in many ways such as alerting the fire department that a wild fire might happen. it will also instantly alert the fire department if a fire is happening so the can hop right to it. This will hopefully limit the amount of forest loss each year due to wild fires. Fires are a thing in life that nobody wants and when they're burning down the precious trees of the plant anything to help is welcome. Game Freak, the company behind the pokémon franchise, has decided to not include in all pokémon from the national dex. However, the fact that they are removing over half of the pokémon from the game down right proves that Game Freak no longer puts any care into pokémon games and that they believe that pokémon will always sell well as long as it has a face of pikachu on it.

Artificial intelligence is cool and all but like scary too. AI isn't just robots, it's also stuff like face recognition, thumb print id, siri, etc. The article said that it's a myth when people say that AI is turning evil, or AI is becoming conscious. But they said the real worry is that AI has misaligned goals. They also said that an AI doesn't need a body and only needs an internet connection to do things. Unlike real people, AI has access to any information it wants/ needs. So basically these robot things are like really smart and could be dangerous.

AI or artifical intelligence can be the birth of a new era, but for what cost. It can create more technology but it has a seperate opinion which could cause caos. Look at all the science fiction movies that have to do with AI, the Terminator series for example, a robot goes to the past to kill someone, Avengers Age of Ultron, Iron Man creates an AI robot to save the world, but tries to kill the Avengers. In this case, I belive AI is a terible thing to create, even if it was the end of the world.

As more and more carbon dioxide is pumped into the atmosphere, the greenhouse effect is being amplified. This is causing more heat to be trapped in the atmosphere, resulting in higher global temperatures. Many organizations are trying to switch to different forms of energy that are better for the atmosphere. One form of energy that I think is good, is nuclear energy. I think that nuclear energy is good because if disposed correctly, then we could get lots of energy without harming the environment. Nuclear energy is made when thin rods of uranium are dipped in superheated water. The heat of the water causes the uranium molecules to split up, generating heat. This heat can be converted into electricity which can be used by the public. This form of energy does not produce carbon dioxide, and is constantly producing energy. Although these things are good, it does come with some risks. The waste is radioactive and is very hard to dispose of. Have you ever heard of Fukushima Daiichi or Chernobyl? Both of these nuclear power plants had a melt down, and toxic waste was released into the environment. Both areas had to be evacuated for extended periods of time, and many people were killed. Nuclear energy is risky, but I believe that it is a key part in saving our planet.

Artificial intelligence doing jobs could be both beneficial and harmful. According to the Seattle Times, companies increasingly replacing their workers with AI in the future will cause many to lose their jobs. However, more tasks being automated reduces the need for a work-based lifestyle, so AI taking over jobs isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I believe companys should pull out of China and here's why. Latay a company by the name of Blizerd has be under fire for the mistreatment of thier consumers. Blizchung(I don't know how to spell his name so apolages) is one of thoses consumers who has been affected. At one of the compations Blizerd hosted Blizchung won a Hearthstone game and when the two anouncers intervuded him he said "Revalotion of our age free Hong Kong". Not even 48hrs later Blizchung was banded for a year and had all of his price money taken from him and the two anoncers that interviewed him they were fired as well. This goes to show how much control China has over the Amaracan business systume.

The first self-sufficient car was invented in the 1980s. Since then humans have used technology to further advance self-driving cars. A popular company that created these self-driving cars is Tesla. In the near future Tesla will be creating a newer model of their full self-driving computer. I think the more they advance the technology the more popular the company will become and the greater the amounts of malfunctions there will be. Personally, I do not trust a computer to save my life or let alone drive me anywhere. I have experienced problems with technology before and I do not think Teslas are any different. In the future we need to be more cautious about our technology and the use for it.

There are hardly any restrictions on drones and there needs to be more. That may seem harsh or unnecessary, however there has been big issues with drones and privacy lately. The current FAA regulations for drones do not cover flight over residential areas. Additionally, according to Forbes magazine, many people are concerned about privacy from anyone using drones. Whether some local creep or the FBI and government.

Cars that uses energy are more efficient than cars that use fossil fuels. Firstly oil is a dirty nonrenewable energy, where as electricity is a clean energy and can be used for different things over and over. Lucky we have many wind, solar, hydropower and geothermal power source. Thus, there is plenty clean power to be provided. It is a lengthy process for the United states to be provided with fossil fuel, by eliminated the use of fossil fuels we can correct many problems such as, drilling disasters, enhance our economy and reinforce our environment.

Google wants to know your location so badly that it records your movements even when you tell it not to. For the most part google asks for permission to use your location. Once you agree to it using your location it displays your locations in a timeline with all your movements. Google says that you can choose for it not to record your location by disabling it, but that's not true. Once you open it google stores screenshots of your location. And can easily know by your past location timeline your daily movements.

When people think of the future, they think of robots ruling the world and flying cars; but what they don’t think of is global warming. Global warming is the long-term warming of the planet’s overall temperature. For the past 20 years, our planet's temperature has increased by a couple of degrees. I know that might not seem like a lot but it is already affecting us in a pretty big way. Natural disasters are increasing and our climate is changing drastically with stronger storms. The polar ice caps are also starting to melt. If they continue to melt, the sea levels will rise and major flooding will occur. All cities near the coast will be in danger of flooding, possibly even ending up underwater. Some major cities near water are Miami, New York, and Hong Kong. These cities could all be destroyed if we do not do something about it. One major factor affecting global warming is the increase of greenhouse gases (like carbon dioxide) in our atmosphere. According to NASA, humans have increased the carbon dioxide levels from 280 parts per million to 400 parts per million in the past 150 years. If we don’t stop global warming soon, the results could be catastrophic.

I think we should end daylight savings time. It is really bad for your health. Since it changes your sleep erratically, your natural rhythm gets overthrown. To more sensitive people, it can give headaches and make you nauseous. It also makes people more lazy, so employees aren't as effective in their jobs. It is also bad for the economy because it is expensive. It is estimated to cost about 1.7 billion dollars every year. This is terrible economically. Daylight savings time should be ended.

I think that we should stop using Apple the ability to use our faces to ID ourselves. I think that it is an invasion of privacy and that we don't know what Apple could be doing with our facial recognition and that we are therefore giving up all privacy and rights to our identity with no information on what is being done with it.

Fully self driving cars should not be used on the roads. They can be dangerous to other drivers and they might not be able to hit their breaks at a sudden unseen moment. According to vox it would take a more than millions of miles of these self driving cars to drive to prove that they can be safe. I am however in favor of self driving cars that can still have the person in the drivers seat take control

I think that the NBA is becoming to be rigged and fake. I think that because the players are beginning to only play for the money and they are all starting to think that they own the NBA and get into fights, etc. and not for the championship. This is a bad thing because there are no more close games and its not like the NBA back then. There are several superstars on each team and it makes it unfair.

I think we should stop using hey siri. The reason I think we should stop using hey siri is because it is an invasion of privacy. If you think about it the phones mic has to be listening all the time in order to activate hey siri. This leads me to believe that they might be recording what we say. I also sometimes get ads for something I was talking about to my friend. I think this is not right and that we should not use hey siri.

One thing that I'm looking forward to in the future is technology that gets us to other planets. I'm looking forward to this because we aren't to going to be able to live on earth forever so we need a place to live. I'm also looking forward to this because if there is other life we could have a different lifestyle or these people out there could teach us stuff.

Nowadays technology is not confined to a phone with a dialing pad and hanging on your wall we have, phone computers bluetooth headphones and much, much more. And to qoute Uncle Ben with great power comes great responsibilty". Though tech has the power to change our lives nut sometimes we may trust it to much, they best example that come to mind is a home assistant made by Amazon known as Alexa. Though The idea of a virtual assistant making to-do lists, setting alarms, playing audiobooks, and providing weather, traffic, sports, and other real-time information, sounds amzing there is also a dark side. According to Washington Post journalist Geoffry A.Fowler "Amazon keeps a copy of everything Alexa records after it hears its name." You would'nt let a stranger record so why should you let a robot? I not saying that we should never by any technology but what I am saying is that I want us as those with the power to watch our surrounding and not to by the latest gadget that comes out every to seconds because you never truly know who listening.

Something that already exists in today's society but is projected to become a lot more popular in 2020 are electric cars. There are already companies that produce cars that run on electricity instead of gas, such as Tesla, but the cars that they currently sell are extremely expensive, starting at around 40,000 dollars. However, by 2020 there will probably be more effective and less costly materials used when creating electric cars, so there will most likely be more people purchasing them. I believe that overall, electric vehicles will have a positive impact on the earth's environment if enough people purchase and use them in the next few years. They can potentially have a positive impact by reducing carbon dioxide emissions that contribute to global warming, and reduce the amount of money that people have to spend on gasoline. Even though electric cars have a good amount of positive effects, there are also some negatives. The negatives of electric cars include the emission of toxic fumes from the batteries used in electric cars, the recharge time of up to 12 hours. When considering the pros and cons of these electric cars, I believe that the pros outweigh the cons and electric cars could have a positive effect on the environment in the next few years if the prices are decreased and enough people invest in them. https://www.admiral.com/magazine/guides/motor/the-environmental-pros-and-cons-of-electric-cars

Right now our planet is looking to be mostly vegan in the future. I perceive that as a good thing being vegan myself. Right now our planet isn't doing so well environmentally. and becoming vegan would impact that a lot in a good way. First of all there are a lot of greenhouse gas emissions in the air. And one cause of that is the production of meat. So if people stopped eating meat then it would improve our environment and everyone would be healthier also. Not eating meat is only being vegetarian. But it would be great if people would take the next step of being vegan. Dairy and meat farms don't treat the animals well. Not only that but to make space for those farms they end up cutting down a lot of trees which increases the amount of carbon dioxide in our air. Also a lot of water is used in those farms which reduces the amount we have to use and for this planet. So if veganism progresses it could change our planet for the better.

I think the concept of 3D Printing is great, we can create more and help the world. Yes, it may be expensive and it may only have limited materials, but everything has pros and cons. Nothing is perfect. However, 3D Printing can help doctors make artificial limbs and organs to help their patients, 3D Printing is used in schools, it decreases shipping population because it takes lots of gas and energy to ship products and when 3D Printing becomes more common we can make our own products at home. It can also revolutionize the Future of Development, It has the chance to make whole buildings and homes! Therefore, even if 3D printing has it's cons it can still revolutionize the future and help out so many people.

In the past, humans used to have to fear a simple cut because of the danger of bacteria. Eventually, someone discovered that it was possible to fight off disease with the ingestion of some certain fungi. Skip to today and we have some of the worst diseases we have ever seen. By overusing the antibiotics that were supposed to eliminate all diseases we have instead created new, extremely strong diseases, called superbugs, that are immune to almost all medicines. However, there is a new, or rather extremely old, opponent on the field. A small virus called a bacteriophage. Bacteriophages are a special type of virus that only targets specific bacteria species. Think of them like homing missiles. They only attack the bad guys, while avoiding the good guys. Of course, there are some concerns with anything of this scale. I mean, injecting yourself with millions of tiny viruses can’t be a good idea, can it? Well, there have already been over a hundred trials using bacteriophages to fight off diseases with no extreme side effects. For example, one man was lying in a hospital bed with extreme heart disease, expected to die in the next 24 hours. In his last moments, the doctors injected his heart with millions of bacteriophages, and in the next two days, he was completely clear of the disease being able to walk out of the hospital on his own. So, in all, I believe that while we need a new solution other than antibiotics, and this could be the solution, we need to be careful while proceeding with any future trials, because while there might not have been any major side effects yet, there are usually side effects that pop up later in medicinal trials.

My opinion, we should stop using and be careful of siri and other smart speakers. A reporter tested an expirement to see if his phone was ¨listening¨ to him. He checked his facebook to see if there were any change in ads as he said stuff like "I need some cheap shirts. " Ads popped up that night on cheap clothing apparel. He tested more examples like this. People say to disable siri and "hey google " on your phone. Everytime you use "hey google " it records your voice and saves into your google account.

The world now needs to stop developing so many robots. These robots are starting to take human jobs. According to the website that I picked, "robots will take 6% of all jobs in the U.S. by 2021". Even though they might be able to do the jobs better than humans it could also be very dangerous. Depending on the job, the robots could have a lot of power in the products that are going into humans every day lives. With one malfunction in a big nation-wide company, we could all be caused with serious damage. Also, while robots are taking more jobs, more americans are becoming homeless which causes a decrease in the U.S. population. A lot of americans are afraid of what is going to happen to their jobs. We must stop trying to depend on robots on our everyday lives because one day they could easily ruin the whole nation maybe even the world.

Samsungs should not be created because of the risk of explosion that comes with them. Samsungs are extremely efficient and unique but they are putting humans lives in danger. As explained on a recent article in Techtimes, a user of the Samsung S10 had reported that their phone blew up and that "This isn't the first time that Samsung has had to deal with one of its devices blowing up." Additionally, a worker at MetroPCS had explained that Samsungs do tend to explode after a long period of time. Phones shouldn't be randomly exploding at all! Although Samsungs are affordable and efficient, it's important that we put our safety first.

They only way that they can succeed is because of the name brand. Apple has loyal fans who will buy anything they make no matter the cost. The apple glass this will make you eyes bad. Technology seems to be a blessing and a curse. According to a Business Insider article, technology can effect humans in multiple different ways. The main ones being; addictive device use, insomnia, poor eyesight, mental health issues, social anxiety, and bad posture. These effects could seriously damage the human body and lead to maybe even worse problems mentally and physically. It is important to take a break from our phones and devices and experience the real world.

Amazon's Jeff Bezos has dreamed about space ever since he was a kid that he had started a private space company known as Blue Origin promising space tours in the year 2020. Though most see this idea as dangerous, I think of this idea as amazing! The idea of a 4 minute suborbital trip may be pricey but gives the opportunity of experiencing space to the public instead of condemned to only a limited amount of people. Also, people who are frightened at the idea need to consider that Jeff Bezos had originally promised that the space tours would be opened to the public in 2017 but then, he pushed back the date to 2020 for precautionary reasons even though after many tests, there were only a few malfunctions. Having space being opened to the public can also open up new opportunities for future ideas from space hotels to space colonisation. This is just the beginning of a whole different world, seriously!

We should stop relying on technology so much.According to this article from Anna Johanson our dependence on technology has increased. It can have effects like depression, and anxiety because mostly with what you see on the news could affect you, or with social media. For example you see someone with a great body and they look perfect, it can make you sad because you wish you could look like that, and it would give you low self esteem. Plus technology has been getting in the way of real life relationships. Once someone starts relying on technology too much, a huge side effect can addiction. Most teens are addicted to social media, or just there phones in general, if they are in a group with people, most of them feel the need to pull out their cell phone.Technology is getting more, and more advanced as the years go by, what we don't understand is that technology could take our jobs in the future, most people would get fired, or that business will not need workers anymore because they got robots or machines doing it for the. All in all i think we depend too much on technology because it can take our futures, from us, make us have low self-esteem and ruin our relationships outside of the screen.

As a country we are on our phones hourly. It has gotten to the point where people can not do everyday tasks without checking the screen every 30 minutes. According to RescueTime blog, in 2018 the average screen time is 3 hours and 15 minutes, and those numbers will only rise. Smartphones are very useful but it is coming to a point that they are taking over our lives. (I am even having a hard time writing this paragraph without checking my phone: the irony). I feel like our phones are taking away the genuinity of talking face to face and interacting with each other. We miss so much in the world because of a 5x8 screen that lights up. I am scared that in the future we will lose all face to face contact with each other and get too distracted by these devices.

Electric Self Driving Cars: Self Driving Cars are very sustainable for the environment. Even though Electric Cars run off of electricity they still are running off of fossil fuels which are bad for our environment, but if we all used Electric cars we would lower the amount of fossil fuels and gas being used. But most Electric Cars are now capable of self driving. A hazard of this could be the Car has an accident and it was because the self driving car failed. However there are many positives. You could be tired and driving late at night and the car could drive you to the destination while you take a break. Also if someone has something wrong with them they can let the car drive them.

As the Wired website says, "VR shows promising applications for pain relief and PTSD, for education and design, for both telecommuting and office work", VR is actually really beneficial to some people. As you can tell, virtual reality is a great idea and it is exciting to have something like that in the future.

Believe it or not, there are some people out there who believe Global Warming is fake, and that it's a conspiracy set up by the government to make us clean up more. Those people are in fact, wrong. Global Warming is the gradual rise in heat of the Earth over a span of many years. This process is causing glaciers to melt and sea levels to rise, which will eventually destroy the habitats of most of the world's animals. Global Warming is a serious problem that needs to be dealt with as soon as possible.

Technology is a burden on the human race for the future. We live our lives expecting ourselves to charge everything we have in our household. This creates a space were we humans cannot even communicate without having a device in our hands. Robots for example are a creation that can harm us in the near future. With A.I existing the robot takeover is here. Technology is harming us as we use it, making our vision worse and our posture. The field of technology should keep expanding but in a way that does not impact us generously.

My topic is about hockey. I believe hockey is the most entertaining sport because it is never boring and there are always big hits and goals. There are also big crowds that watch hockey games and it is a great way to spend time with friends and family. This is a good thing because hockey can make people happy by spending time with each other. https://thehockeywriters.com/10-reasons-hockey-is-the-greatest-sport-on-earth/

Artificial intelligence is taking over jobs in the sweeps but I don't think its a problem. First off A.I can never talk over jobs that require empathy, communication, critical thinking, creativity, strategy, technological management, installation, physical skills, imagination and vision. Even though according to Market Watch “Over 30 millon U.S. workers will lose their jobs in 2-20 years” I still think other jobs will open up.

I think it is no ok to track conversations using household devices. But you are not forced to use amazon echo or google home if you are uncomfortable with it just dont use one. but I do belive that those companys should not track conversations.

I don't think that people who have Iphones and who use Siri should use it. I don't think people should use Sir because if you think about it siri is always listening to what you was because siri is voice activated. So that could mean that everything you say when you are near your phone siri or someone could hear you and be listening to you and invading your privacy.

Technology is advancing at a very fast pace and is making our everyday lives easier. We have to keep moving on to the future and personally I think it's great.. Many of these machines help people in need or just do our everyday tasks so we can spend more time with our family's. Although siri and alexa do have some of your information, they do not share it with others. It is almost impossible for machines to be contious. As long as we use them respnsoblly I think all of us are going to be safe.

Personally I think we really need to stop using plastic. We are obviously techonologically able to make things that are bio-degradable yet we still use plastic. Plastic is harming a lot of our ecosystems and animals. We would have significantly less animals going extinct if we were to stop using plastic. Our world would be a lot cleaner in the future if we could stop using it.

We should keep on working on car technology because the technology is still advancing everyday. There are cars that can auto drive for you so you won't get in a car accident and more fuel efficient cars. Tesla is the best with car technology, it made more fuel efficient cars. They also created solar energy cars so we don't need ro use that much fuel. Car technology is not a bad idea it can help the environment, and protect us from accidents.

I think automakers should continue with making autonomous because autonomous cars help the environment be clean and also help the people with disabilities. Autonomous cars help the environment because they are mostly fully electric vehicles. They produce zero emissions and are very efficient. Autonomous cars can also help the people with disabilities to get around. All they would have to do is press a button and the car would get them from point A to B. Tesla has already made progress in this direction.

I feel like people spend to much time on their phones, me included. I know that is a not very popular topic with my generation, and don't get me wrong I love using my phone and all that but I feel like we all should take some breaks sometimes. People should have some time to get away from social media and to just be with there friends and family. If people would send more time going outside as much as they look at the phone the world would be a much better place, with more people being active and meeting different people.

I think that companies like Google, Amazon and Apple should allow stricter security procedures to personal assistant softwares such as Siri, Alexa and Google assistant because the companies can listen in to what you are doing without you actually saying hey Siri or Alexa. There have also been circumstances when the companies have listened in to them to find out what you like and try to advertise a product that they think you might like. While this is not nessarily negative, they can also find out sensitive information about you that you might not want them to know. For all these reasons I think that there should be stricter regulations on devices like Google Assistant and Alexa.

I believe we as citizens should stop using our technology so much and go enjoy our lives. Don't get me wrong technology has done so much for our country and has helped us make many strides in different fields, this use of technology is good and we should continue to use it for those purposes. The way many of us use it is when we are bored, to distract us from something we are supposed to be doing, or for other reasons. By using technology in these circumstances we are putting our time into using apps such as Youtube or Instagram instead of doing something that could benefit our community such as donating at your local food pantry or volunteering at your local animal shelter. A lot of people also don't realize that you only live once and by using technology all the time your not taking a chance to go outside and enjoy your life while you still can, you can miss a lot by looking down at a screen. Technology can be good and bad but using it the right way could help you live a good life.

I don't believe that we should use self-driving cars. I think that there is a risk if we put our lives in the hand of artificial intelligence. If the car is programed wrong or there is a defect in the car bad things could happen. Although human error is more common it is most likely safer than risking AI drivers.

Amazon is thinking of using drones to deliver packages. I think this is a bad idea. Things could go wrong while the package is being delivered. Someone could throw something at the drone to make it fall. If the drone shuts off or runs out of battery somehow the package will drop and could break the thing inside of the package. There could also be a danger to people below it because if any of these things happen then the drone could fall on someone resulting in injuring that person.

I believe self driving cars are dangerous and should not be allowed. A Lot of dangerous things can happen becasue it's a car that can literally take you anywhere without you knowing where its gonna take you. A Lot of bad scenarios can happen like what if your self driving car is driving and you think its taking you somewhere that ur supposed to be but someone put the wrong location and its taking you somewhere else. It very dangerous and not safe at all.

Google is the most commonly used search engine around the world. Google is a very efficient way to learn about questions you have. However, according to wired.com Google will indefinitely retain the Web & Activity you've set it to collect-everything by default. Advertisers use this data to try to persuade us to buy their products. Finally, Google can make our lives easier to learn about things, but it also can allow advertisers to get our information.

I think that we shouldn't get homework on fridays. It takes time out of my weekend and puts stress on me to do it. The future of the next generation will experience more stress from homework because it has been increasing in noticeable amounts each year. It also is hard for people who aren't aloud to use technology on the weekends since a lot of the work now is online.

I feel like in this time and age people only do things to get them done and not efficiently. The cleanwave portable sanitizing wand can scan you kitchen utensils to check for bacteria that wasn't fully cleaned. It will help the health of people that work in the kitchen and the people that eat the food too so they don't get cross contaminated diseases. It will make the cleaning process easier so they won't have to deal with extra cleaning.

Technology can be very good or bad but we need to make stuff so that it can only be used to make the world better. But that is very hard because there are bad people and they wanna use it for bad things. Take the nuke it can be good or bad but a good person can use it for good. But if it falls into the wrong hands it is very deadly

I think that we should stop using social media for a political foundation. There is no need to create this environment on social media that puts pressure on people that don't have the same views. This environment also causes people to have different views that are influenced by friends or even celebrities. Social media should be used to communicate with people and to provide amusement and a good environment, not a toxic environment that influences beliefs.

My opinion of this is I love it. Technology is growing everyday so 6G network is needed. Kids including me love their phone and cannot live without it. Sakurai should delete Yoshi from the Super Smash Bros franchise. Though it may seem like he shouldn't delete such a beloved Nintendo character, Yoshi causes so much pain and cancer, that removing him would benefit everyone (including the cheap Yoshi mains). Many Kirby mains would be able to roam quick play freely without the fear of running into a brain dead Yoshi that will cheese them in every way possible. Yes, Yoshi is loved as a character, but his Smash representation is ruining the character and he should be removed before his franchise is gone for good.

I believe that we should change our view on schools and the system that runs them. The school system has not had a major change in about a century. Due to this many concepts that worked back then do not align with the world today. Along with that many of the rules and curriculum dose not help us to prepare for our future, something that schools claim to pride themselves in accomplishing. For instance many school have a very all encompassing dress code, and while some schools are more lenient, and some dress codes are reasonable; I personally think that this shows students that self expression through their clothes is not encouraged. They also do not allow us the opportunities to try new things. By allowing us only two electives this limits our ability to try new activities. The school system need to change and adapt to our world now. This change will help students and help our future.

I think we should not have homework on the weekend and tests on monday, because the point of the weekend is to take a break of school, not do more assignments or study for a test that will get us stressed and frustrated. If that continues, then people are going to file complains about having homework and study for on the weekends which can lead to big consequences.

I think that all technology is overrated, even though it has helped us grow as a planet. Things are just moving too fast and it needs to slow down. Technology is advancing but the world isn't! Animals are going extinct because the planet we live on isn't good enough. The oceans are full of plastic and the earth can't go back to how it was because of it. They need to use the technology to make the the earth more environmentally friendly.

I believe that we should allow children over 16 to vote because we are actively ignoring the requests of all young people and not giving them a say on issues that impact them. By doing so we can become a better society and understand what more people would like to happen. By understanding what younger people want we can find a middle ground. However, you will not get far by ignoring a whole generation.

Global warming is a overall increase of the earths atmosphere of heating due to carbon dioxide and other polluants. Mainly global warming has to do a lot from humans from the use of cars, burning fossil fuels , cement. I think that humans should be more careful of the carbon dioxide and pollutants we spread because the do effect our atmosphere.

It also said that these drones wont be able to lift heavy items which is gonna be hard because most things are heavy on amazon. At the end of the day even tho some packages get damaged while being deliveverd it still a more efficent way to deliver packages

I think the expansion of technology throughout life is truly amazing, but with this expansion of technology their should be limits to the extent that technology reaches. I do not think cars should be able to operate on their own. It opens up to much opportunity to have people get hurt and accidents happen. There have been plenty of recorded incidents of Tesla drivers falling asleep behind the wheel.

Today's society is developed and based around the idea of Technology. With everything in our hands, it's easy to access media and it's also easy to be misled on topics. One topic that personally stands out is the topic of feminism and its stereotypes. First, it's necessary to know what defines feminism? Feminism means equality for all genders. I personally believe that people are getting the wrong idea of feminism and so are some so-called "feminists". Feminism is not about being hating or holding a grudge against men. It's about trying to gain justice and equality for all genders, that's including males. Just how like Teresa Younger said " It's about equality for both men and women and a playing field that respects the voices of women. True equality, true feminism is recognition of the dynamics that each person brings to the table.". I think people should research into feminism before calling a feminist a "man-hating woman".

I believe there shouldn't be more fire emblem characters in the new DLC for Super Smash Bro. Ultimate. In total there were 7 emblem characters, 8 including the new DLC character, Byleth. Not only there are 8 characters from the same game, they have similar movesets, Chrome and Ike have the same UP B, Lucina is an Marth echo fighter, (and echo fighter is a character that are the exactly the same character, just appearance that is different). Chrome, Ike, and Roy have the same NEUTRAL B. The list could go on for a while, there's a plenty more moves that the fire emblem characters have in common. The most character have only one character from each game, but some have more characters from their game in smash like the Super Mario Series having six; so they should have more characters from other games.

I believe that apps that ask you to turn on your location is unnecessary and invading privacy and unsettling because their are hundreds and hundreds of apps that have your location and the companies that have your location sell your information to advertisers to help them in what to invest in and other things. And I propose that all apps should have a user agreement where the user can deny the companies to use their information to sell to advertisers.

Schools should not give homework. Homework makes kids stressed and angry which are both very bad things for kids our age. We also already have school for 7 hours so why should we spend our free time that we have at home on school work its annoying and unnecessary. Also, most kids have after school commitments and/or sports. Homework is also hard, especially after a long day or working at school.

We should not solely depend on technology when it comes to the medical field. As the future comes near, medicine starts to incorporate more and more technology. Not only does this put out many jobs, but it also removes sympathy and empathy required for sensitive situations. Even though humans may make errors, they make it up with emotions that a robot can't convey.

Technology seems to be a blessing and a curse. According to a Business Insider article, technology can affect humans in multiple different ways. The primary affects being addictive device use, insomnia, poor eyesight, mental health issues, social anxiety, and bad posture. These effects could seriously damage the human body and lead to maybe even worse problems mentally and physically. It is essential to take a break from our phones and devices and experience the real world. Without breaking our connection to our devices, we remain to be too reliant on them, preventing us from using primary skills that we have, instead of using our natural ones.

We should stop using things like AI or Artificial intelligence robots. Because in my opinion, yes, they might help us produce more and have faster assembly lines, but they are somewhat scary. What if one day someone made an AI and programmed it and gave it to much power, so it just turns on humans and starts making more of him, and then they take over our world. And run over humans and begin to make humans work for them. It is quite a scary thought to think about even though, according to this article, I read AI's turning evil is a myth. Still, they have access to anything they want, and they don't need a body. They only need the internet, so, in my opinion, they are unique but dangerous at the same time.

Household chores are being taken over by robots. Which has expanded into our jobs, leaving citizens jobless. This predicament can be changed if we stop the usage of AI in our workforce. This is why I believe we should change our focus of becoming technologically advanced in the work zone and switch to the needs of Americans.

We should stop relying on technology too much because if we do so, in the future we won't know how to do things for ourselves. They will probably make machines and robots that will do things for you like, clean the house, make your bed and other stuff. Over time, some of us won't know how to do simple tasks.

I think that we should be careful as to what apps we allow to access our camera and location. Though for some apps it's necessary to allow location or camera to do certain actions, some app could get hacked or not be legal then that person who would've hacked it would be able to know your location and see all your picture. Some apps could spy on you or use your photos.
