I watched a video about the super dogs protecting the earth. As we are humans we connect with dogs, we use dogs to help us get what we want or even what we need. Humans and dogs evolve together, work well together, and understand each other. Dogs are also known as the best technology and best to detect something, and being able to tell their handler what they know. Dogs train so much and connect with their handler. Dogs are making the world a better place and making the wildlife safer as well.

Averroes was a philosopher who lived in Spain and studied many subjects during the 12th century, almost 900 years ago. He served as a judge and court physician for the Almohad caliphate. He also created many commentaries on Aristotle, the Greek philosopher. Most of his work seems to be dedicated to the Gods. In heart, Averroes was a very wise man, he will be remembered for all of his knowledge.

I watched a Ted Talk called One Second Every Day. Cesar Kuriyama talked about how he takes a one second video every day and compiles it into a single, continuous video of his life. He said he was tired of forgetting things that happened, and adding one second to his life video was his way to remember every single day. Cesar learned that is is important to remember the bad days as well as the good ones. He encouraged everyone to try this project because it helped him remember his life. He thinks it would be cool to see other people's take on this project.

Adorned with murals around its walls, the Basilica San Clemente is intriguing and immortalizes a turning point in history. Although the upper part of the basilica is free to visit, the lower part contains the most intriguing snippets of history. Not only miraculous stories of the Saint are depicted on the walls in the lower basilica, but also ones picturing the idiocy and evil character of vengeful humans with dialogue written in transitional Italian and Latin. Even better, there are more buildings hidden within the basilica. Two more buildings are built under the basilica, tributes to other gods or prominent that were abandoned throughout history. I thought this was interesting; instead of simply demolishing, they kept adding onto the buildings by building more shells around it, like a (seriously) biologically inaccurate turtle or someone wearing too many sweaters. This basilica is very interesting, to say the least; it is a sight to see both outside and inside.

I watched a video on "Big Story" about dog brains. Gregory Berns, a neuroscientist who lives in Atlanta, Georgia, wanted to learn more about what dogs think and feel after his dog passed away. His main goal was to find out if dogs love us or follow us around for food. In order to do this he started to train dogs to sit for MRI brain scans. At first he put them in a fake MRI that he made in his basement. He trained them to sit in the tube without moving and to not react to the sound of the MRI. He found that even if he did not reward the good behavior with food, the dog were still happy to help him. This may further prove that dogs like us for more that food sources. He has opened this project up to the public, and now anyone can come in and train their dog to take an MRI. He hopes that his study will help us better understand what we call man's best friend.

A novelist, playwright, translator, and critic, Gao Xingjian was awarded the nobel peace prize for literature. The playwright was born in 1940 in China, but later moved to France and stayed there for the rest of his life to pursue his career. Along the way, he was awarded with a plethora of awards by the French, such as the Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. One of the plays that he had helped create made a reference to the Tiananmen Square incident, which banned all of his plays from being performed in China. In conclusion, Gao Xingjian is a notable émigré novelist, playwright, and someone one should study.

I chose Los Angeles because that is my dream city and I want to move there and I didn't know that there was this place in the existence of the world but I guess there is. I chose The Museum of Death which is located in Los Angeles but founded in San Diego in 1995, where I am from. The Museum of Death is a museum which contains the largest collection of serial murderers artwork, photos from crime scenes and murders and other weird things. Other exhibits also have torture devices like the guillotined. To me, this museum sounds very fascinating and I would love to visit it.

The coral reefs are some of the oldest/most fundamental ecosystem on this planet. Coral reefs cover less than 1% of the ocean, but 25% of the marine life lives on coral reefs, and the coral reefs are at stake, peoples goal are to save the biodiversity. The biggest threat to the coral reefs is climate change. Coral reefs are the largest structures on earth of biological origin, and known as “rainforests of the sea”.

I chose to do a little digging on none other than the man, the legend, Hideo Kojima! Born in 1963 and in Japan, he developed an interest in action literature. This was because his family would watch movies every night and he wouldn't sleep until the movie was over. After the death of his father, he studied economics in hopes of getting a high paying job. After a while, he ditched that idea and started making films with a friend. While making on his free time he played video games and eventually joined the gaming industry. The only person to keep supporting him was mother. In 1986 he created the start of his most appreciative works, Metal Gear. It was a stealth game that was known for its graphics at the time. From then until today he lead key roles in over 15 games and maintained a high income (the fear of most of his discouragers). Not only were Kojima’s works outstanding for it's time, he inspired new art and game styles for years to come. Truly a key figure in the gaming industry.

The St. Dunstan church is an english parish church located in London, England. The church is about 900 years old and has surpassed many tragedies. The church first suffered The Great Fire, but it was rebuilt. Then in 1941, the english church was hit by a german bomb even though the war between the United Kingdom and Germany had ended a year earlier. The bombs continued, and this was called the Blitz. Many homes were destroyed, but the City of London surpassed the damage and has recovered.

Because I got thirty two diamonds in Minecraft I decided to research about the creator of Minecraft, Notch. Notch or Markus Persson is a Swedish video game programmer and designer who is most popular for making the Sandbox game Minecraft. He has a networth of 1.6 billion and discontinued his place at Mojang when Microsoft bought the rights of Minecraft for 2.5 billion. His popularity increased and has been introduced to other games as an easter egg, for example in the game Skyrim he has his name referenced on a pickaxe.

He had to put his affairs to the side and move on. Khayyam is greatly known for figuring out that a cubic equation can have more than one solution. Khayyam's algebra expressions weren't written in the same way it is today, it was expressed using words.

I read an article about how people judge others based on their names. With certain sounds people imagine different shapes, and whether or not they like the shape is a reason they judge a person by name. Another reason why is certain sounds remind people of emotions or mental states. I thought this was very interesting and the article was cool.

I read an article about do dogs have feelings or emotions. When they get scared they have an anxious look or when they smell something bad they will feel disgusted. They have different behaviors that tell us what they are feeling. Dogs have brains just like us and they use it in a way similar to humans. A lot of questions were asked if they really have emotions or not and the answer is they do. I thought this article was really cool and I definetly learned something new from reading it.

I looked at an article about a space simulation but under water. There is a habitat that is open to the water but due to the air pressure water can't enter. After 24 hours at that pressure their bodies become saturated with nitrogen. That is similar to space. You can't just go back to land. You can't take much stuff because things are flammable in there that wouldn’t be flammable on land, because oxygen is more flammable under higher pressure. You didn’t feel like you were underwater. You would feel pressure in your ears for about 30 min but then it would go away.

I watched Nnedi Okorafor's Ted Talk. She read a passage from one of her trilogies. She then began to speak about her upbringing and how science fiction became a part of her life. She was born in America but had Nigerian immigrant parents. She valued her culture and is known for mixing African and American cultures in her books. She would take trips to Nigeria as a kid and she saw that Nigeria had more technology at the time than we did which led her into becoming more fascinated with science fiction.

I watch the channel Great Big Story all the time but my favorite video is a very inspiring one for me. It is about how it was like to black on Mister Rogers Neighborhood. It is about a man named Francois Clemmons that is the police officer on the show. This was at a time of great racial tension in america. Mister Rogers was actually a pioneer who challenged racial stereotypes in the media. One of his favorite scenes was when he has his feet in the water with him when black and white people wouldn't even swim in the same pool. Mister Rogers did not do this on accident. When Mister Rogers was filming the last episode he finished by saying you make everyday a special day you know how, by just your being you and Francois thought that he was talking to him. He asked Mister Rogers where you talking to me? And he responded with yes, i have been talking to you for years but you heard me today. And this particular video really inspired me.

Regarded as one of the most amazing and well-known dive spots, the Great Blue Hole offers a diving experience one cannot find anywhere else. This giant marine sinkhole is almost one thousand feet wide and five hundred feet deep, hence its name. After world famous diver Jacques Cousteau declared the Great Blue Hole as one of the top five diving sites in the world, research and investigation surrounding the hole grew. Core samples taken from cave systems suggests that it consists of karst limestone. According to a geological analysis done on the stalactites found in Great Blue Hole, it is believed that formation of the hole started almost 153,000 years ago during the Quaternary Glaciation. Tourists and professional divers come from around the world to dive in the hole’s crystal-clear waters and see the elusive sharks that can be found. Although the Great Blue Hole is breathtaking, it is advised that only divers with experience and at least 24 dive logs may dive its murky deep.

For my topic I chose to read 3 different articles about the unusual sights in New York City, I love New York City and want to live there when I am older. Some unusual sights in New York city include the Dream House, The Museum of Interesting Things and the Freedom Tunnel. The Dream House was created in 1993 by La Monte Young and Marian Zazeela, they mixed sound and light to create a new form of media that would bring attention to the amazing piece of art. The Museum of Interesting Things is another unusual sight, this museum is different from the others because it was built to travel, it was created by Denny Daniel and has a variety of topics and demonstrations. Lastly the Freedom tunnel, it was first created by Robert Moses as an attempt to increase mobility for a certain part of New York City, after failing to do so the tunnel became a place for artist to express their feelings through graffiti and art on the walls of the tunnel. These were just a few of the hundreds of interesting places to see in New York CIty and I hope one day I will get to see them in person.

I watched a video on “Big Story’ about the voice actor Tara Strong. She’s been the voice for many characters but some of her most popular are, Timmy from Fairly Odd Parents, Raven from Teen Titans, and Ben from Ben Ten. She talks about how she comes up with different voices, like for Timmy Turner and Bubbles from Power Puff Girls. Voice acting is all about making the audience see or feel something thats not real. An animated character isn’t really talking or falling but voice acting can make it seem like they are. She has a lot of fun bring all these characters to life and you can tell.

She first started her career on youtube at the age of 12 with a cover of a cup song remix, however she first started song writing three years later, with an original song. The original song was titled "waves". Then a year later she posted her second original called "silly girl". These two songs layed the foundation for her album "rabbit hearted". She is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and she just finished her first stand alone tour in America, however her main fan base is on youtube on her channel, chloe moriondo. Brussels' Black Tower, located in Brussel Belgium, is a 13th century tower still fully intact. The tower became obsolete in the 15th century due to the new fortifications being constructed around Brussels. The locals know the tower as Zwarte Toren or Tour Noire. Today the tower stands nestled in a cozy nook after a modern hotel was constructed around it. Although the Black Tower is no longer in use it remains a sight to be seen and acts a a small look back to medieval times.

Hamilton won Lin more tony awards than any other show, Pulitzer Prize and multiple Grammys. Lin deserves all the praise he is getting for Hamilton after all the 7 years he spent almost on it. With all this said I doubt anyone, not even Abraham Lincoln himself, could convince me that Lin manual Miranda is not one of the greatest of generation.

He also, exclaims that without drastic changes to the ocean this will eventually come true. Not only that, insect populations have dropped 75%, most of them because of what's happening to the ocean. And don't forget about global warming, don't even get me started on global warming because I'm not going to stop. Did you know that if corals get stressed they die, what do they get stressed from, current events.

During the mid 1980's, his interests led him looking for a career in film making, but when he found Nintendo's Entertainment System gave him an interest in video games. Iceland, a featured topic when it comes to hot and trendy travel destinations. As someone who has visited multiple times, I would say that all positive praise is sincere. At the moment, Iceland's rapid increase in tourism is slowing down, slowing down growth in the private sector. Over the last decade, tourism has been increasing at an astronomical level, but now the country is seeing a slowing down. What happens in the future is unknown, but for Iceland's economy to flourish, it needs tourism to continue to grow. For such a small and stable economy, this economic uncertainty is alarming.
